These charges can be either decreased or increased depending on the complexity, timing, or level of interaction with Accounting Outsource management. We strive to make the cost of your accounting support services to be between 4-8% of your gross sales, depending on the industry. Of course, industries in the national economy are very divergent in the type and form of accounting support that they require. Our goal is to help you minimize your accounting charges while maximizing the value of your accounting support.
PROJECTED CHARGES
Let's look at a small General Construction Contractor that generates around $500,000 in revenue per year and needs approximately 1000 hours of accounting support per year. What would their typical annual Accounting Outsource support services charges look like? Please look at the following fee schedule:
Service Type
General Data Entry and Processing Vendor and Customer Management Bank Reconciliation and Payroll Chief Financial Officer/ Consulting Total Hours/ Average Hourly Rate/ Total Charge |
Number of Hours
650 225 100 25 1000 |
Billing Rate
$20.00 $25.00 $30.00 $40.00 $22.63 |
Totals
$13,000 $5,625 $3,000 $1,000 $22,625 |
Every Business would have a little different mix of skills and services. A Realtor would have less data entry and hence less aggregate hours but would need slightly more higher-skill-set-applications as they are managing larger cash flows through the banking system and through clients and law firms. Again, our goal is to get the financial information in your hands as you need it at a price you can afford.
TYPICAL QUALIFIED BOOKKEEPER CHARGES
The national average salary for a qualified bookkeeper is $38,000. Please see the following article on the median salary of a qualified bookkeeper:
http://www1.salary.com/Bookkeeper-salary.html
As can be seen in our example pricing chart we can provide professional services for what you will pay a lessor qualified bookkeeper. Remember, our plan includes data back-up and retrieval and all of the other advantages as defined on our advantages page.
The prices paid for bookkeeping services when procured through your C.P.A can be considerable higher as documented in the following report:
http://www.costhelper.com/cost/small-business/accountants.html
It therefore makes much more sense to be organized in your accounting functions prior to meeting with your C.P.A.
